A rehabilitation project of what used to be an eternally abandoned building in Intramuros, The Bayleaf Hotel now stands as a beacon of elegance and sophistication. The hotel mirrors a historical facade with references to its surrounding but poetically contrasted with modern interior spaces. The 9-storey hotel with a total building floor area of 6,220sqm, boasts of a luxury rooftop restaurant with a magnificent view of the Intramuros Golf Course, a roof deck that can accommodate functions, and rooms with a view of the golf course. The only place in Manila to see a sweeping view of the historical walled city with the backdrop of our capital's growing skyline from nearby business districts, and the ever-famous romance of Manila Bay's beautiful sunset.
With a total of 5,070sqm, the 4-storey Culinary Arts wing serves as an extension of the Lyceum of the Philippines University. Demonstration rooms, classrooms and state-of-the-art kitchens provide the students the opportunity to train under international-standard facilities.
A spline of classic balusters welcome hotel guests as they arrive on the building's porte cochere. Colonial details are gracefully manifested by use of contemporary colors and delineation.
