Year 2010, the Gaisano Capital group commissioned the firm to design their pioneering venture to real estate a mixed use development in Cebu City that comprises the already established Gaisano Mall and an upper scale residential components. Two basement and four podium parking levels with retail floors form the base of two residential towers. On top of the podium, prime units embrace the garden-bordered swimming pool area giving the residents quality amenities and a refreshing resort view from their private windows.
To dematerialize the mall and podium's mass, glass fiber reinforced concrete strips of varying depth clad the exterior. The stripes become thinner where landscaping on the parking levels occur while getting deeper. The effect creates an illusion of rived concrete thus creating a different dimension of glinting landscape from an otherwise solid facade.
