Aiming to provide a facility that is positively experiential, the exterior concept of the project is carried seamlessly into the interior. Natural palette is used to create a homey atmosphere. Mood lighting, personal shelves, entertainment systems are all provided to give the patient as much user-control as possible.
The out-patient rooms, often dreaded by cancer patients is bathed with plenty of natural light and hints of vibrant colors. The pattern on the glass accent is an abstract depiction of the cancer ribbon.
Each in-patient room is provided with a nice view to the courtyard. Hints of natural colors like yellow, green, and blue are used to code each room according to their floor level. Even the furniture is made to look built-in and slightly decorative rather than the usual utilitarian style to achieve a warm and comfortable space for the patient and for their families.
