Out of hundreds who participated the National Design Competition, Arch. Topy Vasquez design concept was the one that made it through. Giving him the title of "the architects' architect", UAP National Headquarters continue to stand as a landmark of powerful creativity.
Providing as a response to a need, the concept of this winning design is to create a skeletal structure baring basic construction methods and using architectural finishes so as to become a life-size educational architectural model for students to learn from. The main entrance is emphasized with the symbolism of an architect's most important tool, the triangular scale, in which Arch. Topy believes that no matter how much advances in computer technology may occur in his profession, this tool will never be insignificant.
